Get outta town

Yeah, you heard right, get outta town. For those of us who happen to live in a city like Vancouver surrounded by so much natural beauty we often forget to actually get out and enjoy it. Trips into nature don't have to be big productions that require gobs of planning. This little gem of a lake is located about 2 hours east of Vancouver. The jewel tone waters and secluded shores make Lindeman Lake an ideal spot to spend the day hiking and picnicking. If you are a little more adventurous than most, you could also lug your camping gear up the 2 km trail and setup camp at one of the designated spots. A few days and nights spent listening to the rhythmic sound of the water lapping at the shore line is sure to provide relaxation to anyone. Join us this weekend as we pack up a picnic and head out into the great outdoors to enjoy some sun and a lot of nature. Where are your favourite places to go when you need a little time away?
