17 days in Vietnam
Choosing where to vacation is a difficult endeavour. For months, Scott and I wavered back and forth. We talked about South America, India and Thailand… The only sure thing was that I had 17 days of vacation that needed to get used up. Then one Sunday morning, Scott pulled up a photo of Halong Bay and said, "We should go here!" And just like that the decision was made. We applied for visas and started packing.
During our 17-day trip we traveled by plane, train, boat, and scooter. We ate the most amazing meals prepared on street corners, drank way too much coffee, and had more than our fair share of 50-cent beers. Here are just some of the things we saw along the way.
